I come From a Land Down Under

Musicless Music Video

For this project I created a musicless music video for the song I Come From a Land Down Under by Men at Work. Musicless music videos take the original video, remove the original audio and replace it with sounds that would be expected in the environment in which it is set. This type of video was popularised on Youtube by examples such as Hello by Lionel Ritchie or Dancing in the Street by David Bowie and Mick Jagger. 

Foley sound recordings, field recordings and sound effects were created and put together to create the audio for this project. Different effects and methods of processing were used to alter the recorded sounds (done in a studio environment) to make them sound as though they occurred in the setting of the video.
